Do you remember 1976, when Jimmy Carter was Time Magazine’s Man of the Year? Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak formed apple Computer and VHS was released and won over Betamax, although everyone thought it was inferior. The most popular TV shows in 1976 were Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, M.A.S.H., Charlie’s Angels, Baretta and all in the Family.
Some of the number one songs that year were “I write the songs”- Barry Manilow; “Theme from Mahogany”- Diana Ross; “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” – Paul Simon; “Oh What a Night” – The Four Seasons; “Disco Lady” – Johnny Taylor; “Afternoon Delight” – Starland Vocal Band; “Play that Funky Music” – Wild Cherry. Rocky took home the Oscar for Best Film, and the Cincinnati Reds won the World Series.
It’s amazing to look back on those fun facts and think how far we’ve come. Lew Kingdom & Stu Wright had a vision that year and joined forces to create Wright Kingdom Real Estate, and here we are today, standing tall among the leading independent real estate companies in the country and breaking new records in sales and leading edge technology.
We, at Wright Kingdom, are proud of the heritage that comes with working for such a family oriented company that treats its employees and clients like they belong to a special group. Lew, Stu and the new generations of Wright Kingdom are committed to keeping the same high standards as we forge ahead.
With their guidance, and the foundation they carefully put in place over 36 years ago this month, we are excited about our future and the future of real estate in Colorado!
