Community means everything to us at WK. We live and work here, which is why our company, agents, and staff are eager to participate in fundraising events and other activities throughout the year. Here are some of the local causes we happily support.
Denver Kids School & Hygiene Drive
Kids learn better with proper supplies, so this year we hosted a school supply and hygiene collection in partnership with Denver Kids to donate to at-risk youth within the Denver area.
Rise Against Suicide
To address the staggering increase in youth suicides during the pandemic, WK teamed up with Rise Against Suicide to raise awareness and funding for youths struggling to afford and find access to mental health services. We participated in two opportunities
to raise money and awareness by sponsoring their annual 5k race and collecting donations through their Holiday Star Giving program.

Community Food Share
Food insecurity affects our neighbors, friends, and community. By raising funds through Community Food Share’s Corporate Challenge, WK donated $2,958 to the cause this year.
CU Scholarship
WK began our scholarship for the Leeds School of Business at CU in 2018. Each year we award two $2,500 scholarships to students who have financial need in the local counties of Boulder, Broomfield, Weld, Larimer, Jefferson, and Gilpin.
Habitat for Humanity
As a real estate company, we see the housing affordability struggles in our market every day. Habitat for Humanity builds better lives for people by making the American dream a reality for those who would otherwise be unable to purchase a home. This year we painted a home in Dacono with St. Vrain’s Habitat for Humanity.

Children’s Hospital of Colorado Blood Drive
With the overwhelming hospitalization rates in the last year and a half, blood banks are running low. We partnered with Fidelity National Title and donated blood to the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
Share-A-Gift
In December, we’ll support one of our favorite local charities, Share-A-Gift, which provides toys, books, and bikes to low-income families within the Boulder Valley School District. We specifically focus on donating STEM toys to help kids learn while they play.
