WK would like to congratulate Siân Murphy for being awarded the BARA (Boulder Area REALTOR® Association) REALTOR® of the Year award for 2019! This award is one of two awards presented each year by NAR (National Association of REALTORS®).
The criteria that the nominees must meet for this prestigeous award are:
- They must be a REALTOR® for a minimum of 5 years.
- Have loyality towards the real estate profession.
- Encompass the qualities of truthfulness and integrity
- Contribute to fellow REALTORS®, BARA, CAR (Colorado Association of REALTORS®), NAR (National Association of REALTORS®), and the community.
- Be a model to other REALTORS® by exemplifying execptional REALTOR® and community leadership.
- Conduct yourself professionally, ethically, and be knowledgeable in real estate.
- And contribute in ideas, time, effort, above what's required, to both REALTOR® and community activities.
In March, Siân was a part of REALTOR® Magazine's 2019 Class of 30 Under 30 and received the BARA President's Award in 2015. When we asked Siân what makes her so successful, she said, "My business motto is 'hustle and heart, right from the start,' and I feel this sends a clear message of who I am as a person and a professional. I run my business and life with a philosophy my parents grew up teaching us: FAWTSY—find a way to say yes. I am committed to being a problem-solver in my business and other aspects of my life. I’m not only an agent for my clients, I’m someone they can rely on."
