Year-over-year home sales in January were up sharply in Boulder, Longmont, Loveland and, Fort Collins despite a significant decrease in listings. YoY figures from the latest IRES multiple listing service show that:
• Median single-family home prices in Fort Collins were up a whopping 57 percent.
• Median home prices in Boulder were up 14 percent. Sales were up slightly even though active listing dropped by 27 percent.
• Sales were up 25 percent in Fort Collins, 21 percent in Longmont and 32 percent in Loveland/Berthoud even though listings decreased by 24, 17 and 8 percent respectively.
• Greeley Evans was the outlier, where active listings actually increased by 14 percent while sales dropped by 4 percent.
