1921 Panorama Circle, a mid-century home, was constructed by Longmont's first industrialist, Mr. Wilbur Gibson, the inventor and manufacturer of the residential garden tractor. The home was built using materials produced by Denver Brick. In 1982, Mr. & Mrs. Ken Pratt purchased the home as their primary residence and began a tradition of hosting elaborate public and private events with many influential guests.

The greatest honor bestowed upon this residence and the Pratt family was the visit for several days by Their Majesties, the Emperor and Empress of Japan in 1994. 1921 Panorama Circle is the only private residence in the world to have accommodated the Emperor and Empress. Other special events included a performance by renowned Las Vegas performer, Danny Gans, as well as weddings, and the annual Longmont Christmas Home and Garden Tours to name just a few.

Over the past 26 years, the Pratts have made several additions to the home and grounds- including an enclosed swimming pool, motor home garage, dog kennels and kennel yard, greenhouse, enclosed sunroom, new family room, new entry, expansion of the master suite, Japanese garden, copper cutters, gated circle drive, and extensive patios with stone, brick, colored concrete and wrought iron. The most recent improvements include a new roof, kitchen, dining room, and bathroom renovations in 2008. Popular original features of the house include walnut paneled walls and ceiling in the study, native stone fireplaces, and the many built-ins featured throughout the home. Custom designed and crafted stained glass adds to the character and warmth of this great home. Outdoors, a privacy wall with a gate to the neighboring golf course surrounds this 1.5 acre estate and towering trees cloak its beautiful mature landscaping.

We welcome you to view this one-of-a-kind property featuring fine detailed craftsmanship, impeccably maintained grounds and a page out of Longmont's rich history.
1921 Panorama Circle is listed for $2,500,000 by Chris Haught.
