What are you doing to celebrate Memorial Day this weekend?
In Boulder you have a lot to choose from. The Boulder Creek Festival happens each year at this time. It’s such a hometown, fun, family event with something for everyone. There are games for the kids, arts and crafts tents, great food offerings and non-stop music at five performance stages offering a full spectrum of music styles and dance.
Oh, and you certainly don’t want to miss the Rubber Duck Race down Boulder Creek! And it’s free! Of course The Bolder Boulder takes place every Memorial Day. The 10K road race has been a Boulder tradition since 1979. With over 50 thousand runners of all types and speeds, it’s one of the largest races in the world. The race culminates in C.U.’s Folsom field with a grand Memorial Day tribute that includes skydivers carrying the flag of each branch of the military and a flyover by Air force Jets and a tribute to local military heroes. It’s a local event with a global flare!
There are also numerous art venues, restaurants and other performances to check out this weekend, so come to Boulder, you’ll have a great time!
