Homeowners See Gains in 2022
In nearly every housing market nationwide, homeowners saw their equity increase over the past year. Homes in Florida and Hawaii averaged a net equity gain of $77K and $61K whereas Idaho and Iowa saw average equity gains in the teens. Colorado is in the middle with an average net equity gain of $38K per home in 2022.
