Haunted Attractions for a Scary Thrill

People are stocking up on Halloween candy, putting the finishing touches on their decorations, completing their costumes, and for those who enjoy the rush of adrenaline, planing what haunted attraction they'll visit this year. Check out our list of some of the scariest haunted attractions in Colorado!

 

 

Fright Fest  (Denver)

Enjoy blood-curdling shrieks, shrills, and chills at Elitch Gardens' Fright Fest. Three haunted attractions will be available to enjoy alongside your favorite theme park rides.

City of the Dead Haunted House  (Henderson)

Voted as "one of the nation's scariest haunted houses" by USA Today, this dual attraction location is sure to get your adrenaline pumping! Choose to wander through the City of the Dead or the Asylum- both are equally thrilling.

The 13th Floor Haunted House  (Denver)

The same company that owns the City of Dead Haunted House has an equally scary thrill in Denver and was voted the "top 5 terrifying haunted houses in the US" by USA Today. Chose from three attractions, the Clown, Tales of the Unknown, and The Other Side.

The Frightmare Compound   (Westminster)

Filled with horrors, The Frightmare Compound welcomes the brave to journey through their three attractions. They are the Denver area's oldest haunted house, so you know it'll be scary!

Scream Acres  (LaSalle)

This season, Scream Acres presents a 2-part haunted scare fest. Part 1 is Ashes of Creation and part 2 is Silver Screams, a brand new Hollywood horror style haunt.

Haunted Field of Screams  (Thornton)

The Haunted Field of Screams is Colorado's largest horror attraction and backs to the famously haunted Riverdale Road in Thornton. Choose from four different themes- Condemned, Zombie Paintball Massacre, Dead Man's Maze, and Carnevil in the Corn.

Terror in the Corn  (Erie)

Located at Anderson Farms, Terror in the Corn is not for the faint hearted. Walk, or run, through a corn maze terrorized by twin siblings, Charles and Mildred Wells- the main characters of Terror in the Corn.

Fright Acres  (Parker)

Flat Acres Farm, home of Fright Acres, houses four creepy attractions that will surely make your skin crawl- Reapers Hollow, Dead End Motel, Goblins Grove, and the brand new Fright Zone.

HellScream  (Colorado Springs)

For 11 years, HellScream has been haunting its visitors through several attractions. Choose between two haunted houses, HellScream and Haunted Mines, and three themed escape rooms.

Dead Zone Scream Park  (Littleton)

Explore hundred of acres at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms location. Three different and unique zones have been set up for those seeking a haunted thrill and those who would rather not be scared.

Forest of Doom  (Bailey)

The Forest of Doom is Colorado's only mobile haunted forest! Explore a lit walkable path that leads you on a haunted hike. It will surely make your heart leave your chest.
