Strange and interesting time here in Boulder. I heard from David Lowrey, the Chief Fire Marshall for the City of Boulder, this morning and he has made the decision to cancel the fireworks show at Folsom Field. Of course with the ongoing heat, dry conditions and so many fires burning all around us, it’s no surprise.
We, at Wright Kingdom, were hoping that the conditions would improve and we could host our safe and professional fireworks display that so many people have come to enjoy every year. Whether they came to the stadium or watched from various points throughout Boulder, it was a magnificent celebration of our Nation’s Freedom and a wonderful community event. So, now we will put our efforts into next year’s show, and in the meantime, we are creating some ways to donate to the firefighters and the people who have lost their homes in the fires around the state.
