Fun Facts

Watch the Summer Rodeo
Every Friday and Saturday during the summer starting on the 4th of July, the Summer Rodeo Series takes place. Stop by FM Light and Sons, the town's famous western store, before the rodeo to get dressed up!
Mountain Biking
The Steamboat Bike Park offers an expansive 40 mile trail network that includes a wide array of lift assisted downhill only “flow” and “tech” trails and numerous multi-directional trails for those fitness focused riders.
Fly Fishing
Between the Yampa River, several lakes and streams, and the surrounding reservoirs on the outskirts of town- Steamboat offers plenty of beautiful locations for any skill level.

Steamboat is home to many geothermal hot springs and has even turned a few into pools. Take the drive up to Strawberry Park to soak in the natural hot springs that are completely emersed in the forest.

Hosted by the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, this events brings people of all ages together as they marvel over street events such as the famous "Donkey Jump" and night time events that light up Howlsen Hill.
