Some of our favorite fall activities are coming back this year - Corn Mazes, Pumpkin Patches, Spooky Thrills, and of course, candy galore!!! 

These fall favorites are a classic way to kick off the fall season, and this list will guide you to the best corn mazes and pumpkin patches from Denver all the way up to Fort Collins.
 

Whether you’re looking for a kid-friendly maze during the day or a spooky thrill at night, each one offers a unique experience. Many have so much more than just pumpkin patches and corn mazes, such as petting zoos, inflatable play structures, and hayrides. Get ready to fill your fall calendar with fun for all! • Fritzler Maze: 🎃 👻 🌽

Fritzler is one of the larger farms on this list. Also, they have lots of activities ranging from the classic corn maze to pumpkin patches, to their spooky haunted attractions “Scream Acres” for those who brave the night.
“Since 2000, The Fritzler Family has taken pride in their corn maze designs and have been dedicated when creating the unique and meaningful design for each year's Fall Festival! Check out their facebook page for updates on this year's design and purchase your ticket to find your way through Colorado's best corn maze!” This year, it looks like they are “honoring the 20 year anniversary of 9/11 by dedicating it to and raising awareness for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.”

• "The Hollow" at Hankins Farms - Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch: 🎃🌽

Located in Johnstown, Colorado, Hankins Farms has been designing mazes for several years. The pumpkin patch and corn maze are perfect for the whole family.

• Mazzotti Farms: 🎃 🌽

This farm is geared toward family/school groups and boasts a “scare free corn maze,” petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and an emphasis on finding out how real working farms operate.

• Anderson Farms - Terror in the Corn: 🎃 🌽

With a 25 acre maze, 8 miles of trail, 3 different games, and a "bee kind" themed field, it’s easy to get lost in this one before finding your way out. Terror in the Corn and the Zombie Paintball Hunt are two additional nighttime activities for guests to enjoy.

• Cottonwood Farm: 🎃 🌽

Cottonwood Farm is a smaller option but conveniently located in Boulder. It houses a 4 acre cut by hand corn maze and a smaller hay bale maze for younger kids. The farm also has a pumpkin patch, animals, hayride, and farm stand for all your fresh fruit and veggie needs.

• Rock Creek Farm: 🎃 🌽

Pumpkins aren't where the fun stops, try their hay bale maze, or get lost in the winding paths of over six miles of Corn Mazes. You can also hang out with their pigs, goats, cows, sheep and other farm animals!

• Maize in the City: 🎃 🌽

This 20+ acre maze also provides a corn launcher, escape rooms, a barrel train, and more. They are the only farm in Colorado to have a smart phone trivia game with multiple difficulty levels that guides you through the maze (groups can even create a custom set of questions and answers beforehand!). 

• Mile High Farms: 🎃 🌽

A large maze and mini-maze gives perfect alternatives for different age groups, and the bouncy houses, tractor hay ride, barrel cart rides, and farm animals add to the fun.

• Flat Acres Farm: 🎃 👻 🌽

Flat Acres Farm was voted the best Pumpkin Patch in 2017 and 2018 by the Parker Small Business Excellence Group. There will be plenty of activities for the family to enjoy this year.  Unfortunately, it looks like the nighttime “Fright Acres” will not be open this year.  Make sure to check out the pumpkin patch during your visit so you can pick out that perfect pumpkin for carving.

• Denver Botanic Gardens – Chatfield Farms: 🎃 🌽

Wind your way through seven acres of corn. The maze can be viewed from a  15-foot tall bridge. This year’s maze will have you buzzing with excitement while searching for the queen bee. Visitors under the age of 10 can explore the corn mini-maze.

• Jack Lantern's Northern Colorado Corn Maze: 🎃 👻 🌽

Jack Lantern's Corn Maze has been Northern Colorado's favorite corn maze & pumpkin patch for 20 years, offering acres & acres of fear, fright and fun!

• 7th Generation Farm: 🎃 🌽

7th Generation Farm is a local farm serving local people. Come on down throughout the month of October for the best pumpkin picking in Boulder County!  Although they are not having any hay rides to our patch this year, you can still adventure through our kids hay bale maze, climb up a big bale hay mountain and enjoy visiting their farm animals.

• Hergenreder Farms: 🎃 🌽

Family Oriented and very reasonably priced - Fun for all ages! Pick your own pumpkin, get lost in the Maze, play in the corn crib, or climb on the hay pyramid!

• Pumpkin Pickin' Paradise: 🎃 👻 🌽

Come pick out your favorite pumpkins from the many colors and sizes, squash, gourds, Indian corn, straw bales and corn stalks. Enjoy their haunted houses and maze for activities. Please see their Facebook page for more information.

• Spooky's Pumpkin Patch: 🎃

Spooky’s Pumpkin Patch prides itself on having a very large supply of pumpkins in many different sizes to accommodate any household budget. Their thick-skinned pumpkins are specifically grown to be the best for carving, unlike store-bought pumpkins which have a very short shelf-life once they are carved. They also offer decorative straw bales, decorative corn stalks, gourds, squash, mini-pumpkins, and sweet Pie Pumpkins that are beautiful for that delicious pumpkin pie we all crave around this time, or as part of a beautiful fall table display you are putting together.

• Loukonen Pumpkin Farm: 🎃

Loukonen Farms is a favorite pumpkin patch in Boulder CO. A family-run, old school pumpkin patch with loads of choices, great prices and good company.

• Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch: 🎃

Don't miss the excitement of the weekend festival held on Saturday's and Sunday's during the month of October! It boasts tons of Carnival Fun with kiddie-rides, a petting zoo, face-painting, a food truck and, of course, is home to the original Pick-a-Pumpkin Pumpkin Patch! 

• Hometown Harvest Pumpkin Patch: 🎃 🌽

1 Acre mini corn maze, Pumpkin bowling, "Redneck" Corn Hole, and photo opportunities await you at the Hometown Harvest Pumpkin Patch. Stop in for a tour of the farm, and pick your own pumpkin on the way out.
