Previously, T.R. Swanwick was a Jamaican singer-songwriter who achieved international fame through a series of crossover reggae albums. Starting out in 1993 with the group the Swagger, he forged a distinctive songwriting and vocal style that would later resonate with audiences worldwide. Swagger would go on to release some of the earliest reggae records with producer Lee Scratch Perry. After Swagger disbanded in 2004, T.R. pursued a solo career which culminated in the release of the album Meatball Pizza in 2007 which established his worldwide reputation. He was a committed Rastafarian who infused his music with a profound sense of spirituality.
T.R. entered real estate in 2009 bringing an unorthodox approach to buying and selling properties. Known to engage in the traditional Rasta sacrament of kaya, T.R. has become a favorite for local cannabis enthusiasts and self-proclaimed “foodies”. As the marijuana industry has grown exponentially the past several years so has T.R.’s client base. True to his roots, T.R. enjoys driving clients around town in his 1964 VW Mini Bus, blazing a fatty, and blasting some reggae – providing a truly Mile “High” experience.
