Boulder Creek Neighborhood’s Upcoming Neighborhoods for 2019

Boulder Creek Neighborhoods, the award-winning home builder based in Louisville, is looking forward to the launch of their newest low-maintenance communities in 2019. The builder continues to offer low-maintenance homes and neighborhoods, and plans to open several neighborhoods this summer.


All of these neighborhoods will stay true to Boulder Creek’s mission to offer low-maintenance living across the Front Range. The builder’s commitment to low-maintenance homes begins long before the first homeowners move in, and even before the first foundation is poured. By using construction materials and methods designed for longevity, buyers can worry less about their home and spend their time pursuing their passions. This mission is further supported by the HOA at each community, whose responsibilities include shoveling snow, raking leaves, and mowing grass on the homeowner’s behalf.


Rogers Farms

The first of Boulder Creek’s new developments comes to the corner of 2nd and Douglas in Original Town Superior. Rogers Farm will offer a limited opportunity of 26 single-family homes between 2,400 and 2,800 square feet and include 3 to 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The homes are a traditional two-story design, however, a few homes will offer a master suite on the main floor. The builder anticipates buyers will be drawn to these new homes in Superior (a rarity in itself) for their extensive kitchen layout choices, with the opportunity for expanded counter space, longer islands, butler’s pantries, dual ovens, dual dishwashers, and other features dubbed “the Entertainer’s Kitchen.” Boulder Creek is also considering a variety of layouts for the garages of these homes. Beyond the standard two-car garage, there is opportunity for up to 4 car spaces, larger garage doors to accommodate boats or other vehicles, and finished space above the parking area for additional storage, or even an art studio or workshop. This neighborhood will open for sales in early May 2019, and homes are expected to start in the high $700s.




Lanterns at Rock Creek

Home Style: Paired Ranch Patio Homes



The next neighborhood Boulder Creek has announced for 2019 is also located in Superior – Lanterns at Rock Creek. This series of paired ranch patio homes was successful in the Steel Ranch neighborhood in Louisville, so the name and homes may look familiar. This low-maintenance home series is designed to make the most of main-floor living. Home shoppers seeking to downsize, or perhaps right-size, into a home designed for their current needs, will love the Lanterns series. Located in the well-loved Rock Creek neighborhood of Superior, the homes at Lanterns will offer 2-4 bedrooms, and about 1,600 sq ft on the main floor, with an additional 1,000 sq ft in the finished lower level. Master suites on the main floor of the home, along with living spaces, laundry, and zero-step thresholds from the garage are just a few of the easy-living details that make this series special. Lanterns at Rock Creek is expected to open for sale in the June/July time frame, with the interest list building currently.


wee-Cottage® at Riverdale Ranch

Location: Thornton, CO

Starting Price Point: $300,000

Home Style: wee-Cottage®



Boulder Creek rounds out its portfolio for summer openings with its extremely popular wee-Cottage® series. These homes have made quite a splash in the last few years, selling out in just months in Stapleton, and selling quickly in Longmont’s Blue Vista neighborhood, where prices start in the mid-$300s.  (Almost unheard of for a single family new home in Denver’s red hot real estate market.)  The builder will be bringing wee-Cottage® to Riverdale Ranch in Thornton, located just east of 128th and Quebec. The home series made headlines when it was announced due to its smart design, and also its smaller footprint – the smallest version is around 860 sq ft with 2 beds and 1 bath. The wee-Cottage® series expands to about 1,300 sq ft, with 3 beds and 2 baths. Boulder Creek reports that the buyers who love these homes are deciding that they simply don’t need the typical 4 bed, 3 bath family home that tends to dominate the new home market – often at a larger square footage and a much larger price point. These buyers either think of their home as a home base for their adventuring lifestyle, or they are being intentional about the square footage that they need from their new home, and reject the need for extra rooms and unnecessary space. The wee-Cottage series will arrive at Riverdale in May, with prices expected to start in the $300s.


Opportunities Series at Riverdale Ranch

Home Style: Paired Ranch Patio Homes



Following the successful build-out of the Eastlake patio homes in Thornton, Boulder Creek will also be bringing paired ranch style patio homes to Riverdale Ranch. Downsizing and right-sizing buyers will love the “Opportunities” series of paired patio homes that starts around 1,300 sq ft, and can flex up to 2,800 sq ft for those seeking a bit more space and a finished lower level. Demand for main-floor living was so strong at Eastlake that the builder sold out in less than two years. To satisfy this demand, the Opportunities series features many of the same benefits that were so popular at Eastlake: main-floor master suites, zero-step thresholds, and open floorplans with plenty of natural light. Combining this type of home design with easy access to several golf courses and open space makes for a winning combination. The Opportunities series is expected to go to sale later this summer.
