Interactive Map: Halloween Trick-or-Treat Events in Colorado 2018

If you’re looking for alternatives to trick-or-treating door to door, or for “spooky” events to enhance your Halloween adventures, here’s our guide to our favorite ways to load up on the candy. Check out the interactive map to locate the events and treats nearest to you!

 

 

A. MUNCHKIN MASQUERADE (BOULDER)

Wednesday, October 31st | 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Halloween on Pearl Street is probably one of the cutest sights you’ll ever see. Kids dress up and go trick-or-treating to the shops all along Pearl Street!

 

B. TRICK OR TREAT STREET  (LONGMONT)

Saturday, October 27th  | Parade starts at 10:00 a.m.
Kids of all ages are invited to join the Longmont Halloween Parade in costume. The Halloween Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. and trick-or-treating starts immediately after!

 

C. HAUNT IN THE ‘MONT (LONGMONT)

Saturday, October 27th | 5:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m.
An adult “business crawl” through Downtown Longmont, Haunt in the ‘Mont offers drink and treat samples from local businesses. Plus, it’s all for a good cause: ticket proceeds benefit The Education Foundation for the St Vrain Valley.

 

D. HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL AT THE APEX CENTER (ARVADA)

Friday, Oct 26th | 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Halloween Carnival in Arvada will have ghoulish games, inflatables, a hayride and much more! Pre-registration is available online here.

 

E. TRICK OR TREAT TRAIN (GOLDEN)

Saturday, October 27th & Sunday, October 28th | 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
All aboard for treats and a fun time at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden! Catch a ride behind the historic locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume and make a visit to the“not so spooky” haunted railcar or the Olde Railroaders silly graveyard.

 

F. SAFE STREET HALLOWEEN (NORTHGLENN)

Saturday, October 27th| 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
There will be fun games, cookie decorating, ghostly storytelling, and much more at Northglenn High School. Each year more than 3,500 pounds of candy are handed out!

 

G. TRUNK OR TREAT  (THORNTON)

Saturday, October 20th | 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Spend the evening going from trunk to trunk at the Carpenter Park Field Parking Lots in Thornton! There will also be a spooky haunted walk for the older kids.

 

H. TRUNK OR TREAT  (WHEATRIDGE)

Saturday, October 27th | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Trunk-or-treating, a costume parade, a haunted house, carnival games and lots of fun will be happening in Wheatridge at Ridge at 38.

 

I. TRICK OR TREAT STREET  (DENVER)

Sunday – Tuesday, Oct 28th-30th | 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. each day
The Children’s Museum in Denver is offering treat houses filled with yummy goodies, a Monster Carnival overflowing with games, lots of Halloween arts and crafts and lots more fun!

 

J. TRICK OR TREAT ON MAINSTREET (PARKER)

Wednesday, October 31st | 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The Trick or Treat on Mainstreet is something the entire Parker community looks forward to each year. Kids of all ages are invited to dress up in costume and join in on the fun!

 

K. BOO AT THE ZOO (DENVER)

Saturday, October 20th | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Denver Zoo’s annual trick or treat event provides visitors with exciting Halloween-themed animal demonstrations and entertainment, in addition to the nighttime Boo After Dark for an evening trick or treat experience. Zoo admission fees apply, see website for more details.

 

L. HALLOWEEN PARADE AND PARTY (DENVER)

Thursday, October 25th | 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m

Get ready for #BoonionStation at the Denver Union Station! Perfect for the whole family, this Halloween event includes trick or treating, a costume contest, and even adult drink specials.

 

M. SPOOKY VILLAGE HALLOWEEN EVENT (LONGMONT)

Saturday, October 27th | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m

Village at the Peaks is celebrating Halloween with a free event, featuring hay rides, goblin train rides, face painting, craft stations, and so much more, including trick or treating, of course!

 

N. 18TH ANNUAL FIRESTONE POLICE DEPARTMENT HALLOWEEN SAFE NIGHT (FIRESTONE)

Friday, October 26th | 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m

The Firestone Police Department is hosting a safe Halloween event with a food truck, fun rides, inflatables, and carnival style games for all ages.
