Colorado Corn Mazes & Pumpkin Patches 2018

Corn mazes are a classic way to kick off the season with some fall fun! This list will guide your path to the best corn mazes and pumpkin patches in the Boulder/Denver area. Whether you’re looking for a kid-friendly maze during the day, or a spooky thrill at night, each of these different farms offers a unique experience. Many of the farms offer so much more than just pumpkin patches and corn mazes, including petting zoos, inflatable play structures, and hayrides. Get ready to fill your fall calendar with fun for all!

1. Fritzler Maze

This is one of the larger farms on the list. Located just south of Greeley, Colorado, Fritzler Maze is reasonably priced with tickets ranging from $13-$60, depending on the activities and packages selected. Fritzler Farm first started creating mazes back in 2000 and have some of the most intricate design patterns that have been perfected over the years. They include a wide range of activities for all ages, including a pumpkin patch, mini-rollercoaster, hay climb, and more. Don’t miss their Fall Festival, or their evening haunted maze event, Scream Acres.

2. “The Hollow” at Hankins Farms

Located in Johnstown, Colorado, Hankins Farms has been designing mazes for several years. This year’s design boasts a western boot theme. The pumpkin patch, peddle car drag races, and hoppy horse races, among other attractions, are great for the whole family. Tickets are $12. Opening weekend is October 6th & 7th, 2018!

3. Mazzotti Farms

This farm is geared toward family/school groups and boasts a “scare free corn maze,” petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and an emphasis on finding out how real working farms operate. Admission is $10 and for an additional fee, you can make your own scarecrow to take home.

4. Anderson Farms

With a 25 acre maze, 8 miles of trail, and a heroes-themed field, it’s easy to get lost in this one before finding your way out. Terror in the Corn and the Zombie Paintball Hunt are two additional nighttime activities for guests to enjoy. Tickets range from $12-$49. Two attractions that are new for 2018 are the combine slide – a corn-harvesting tractor turned into a playground – and two large jump pads!

5. Cottonwood Farm

A smaller option but conveniently located in Boulder, this 4 acre maze is free to the public on weekdays. On the weekends, admission is $5, except for kids under 5 or seniors over 65: admission is always free for them. The farm also has a pumpkin patch, animals, hayride, and farm stand for all your fresh fruit and veggie needs. Cottonwood Farm is open every day between September 22nd and October 31st from 10am to 6pm.

You can pick your challenge with Rock Creek Farm’s four different maze design patterns. With over 9 miles of trails, farm animals, and family fun areas, everyone can find something to love here. Their 120 acre U-Pick-Em pumpkin fields have every size and shape imaginable and emphasize the old fashion “right-from-the-vine” pumpkin picking experience. Admission to the farm is free, but the corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and certain other attractions range in price from $1-$25.
