Your Guide to Farmers Markets in Boulder County and Beyond 2018

Farmers markets encompass everything that makes summer special: fresh fruits and vegetables, perfect weather, community, and good times. Stroll by the stands of farmers’ and local companies’ best goods, meet local shoppers and farmers, and taste samples of fresh fruits, ice cream, and more! Create delightful summer memories and enjoy Colorado summers at these farmers markets in Boulder County and beyond, including Longmont, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, and Denver.

 

Boulder Farmers Market – Saturday/Wednesday

Saturday

  • Dates Open: April 7th, 2018 through November 17th, 2018
  • Location: 13th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe
  • Hours: 8AM-2PM
  • Local Tips: Parking is bound to be somewhat full, so park one block east across the street in the parking garage for easy access and easy parking. Enjoy live music every week, and Artisan Shows every second Saturday of the month.

Wednesday

  • Dates Open: May 2nd, 2018 through October 3rd, 2018
  • Location: 13th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe
  • Hours: 4PM-8PM
  • Local Tips: Wednesday is less crowded than the popular Saturday market, but occasionally there are less vendors. Don’t miss the live music, beer garden, and yoga class in the park!

 

Longmont Farmers Market – Saturday

  • Dates Open: April 7th, 2018 through November 17th, 2018
  • Location: Boulder County Fairgrounds, 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont
  • Hours: 8AM-1PM
  • Local Tips: Parking is free and simple at the fairgrounds. There’s also complimentary bike valet provided by Bicycle Longmont. Live music and kids activities happen every week, and Artisan Shows every fourth Saturday of the month.

 

Lafayette Farmers Market – Thursday

  • Dates Open: June 7th, 2018 through September 27th, 2018
  • Location: 600 S Public Road, Lafayette, CO 80026
  • Hours: 4PM-8PM
  • Local Tip: Old Town Lafayette is small but charming, and parking is available in lots or on the street. Enjoy the live music or stop by the beer garden, which features a different local brewery every week.

 

Denver Union Station Farmers Market – Saturday

  • Dates Open: May 12th, 2018 through October 20th, 2018
  • Location: Denver Union Station, 1701 Wynkoop Street
  • Hours: 9AM-2PM
  • Local Tip: Union Station is only a short walk away from one of the most popular areas in Denver, 16th Street Mall! Union Station offers valet parking, but there’s also street, garage, and lot parking. Arrive at 10am for a chef demo, or at 11am for the live music.

Louisville Farmers Market – Saturday

  • Dates Open: May 19th, 2018 through October 13th, 2018
  • Location: 824 Front Street, Louisville, CO 80027
  • Hours: 9AM-1PM
  • Local Tip: A detailed list of which days you can expect which vendors to be there can be found on the website here, so if you’re looking to learn more about a particular vendor or purchase their goods, here is your guide. Despite the week you go, there will be live music!

 

Erie Farmers Market – Thursday

  • Dates Open: May 17th, 2018 through September 20th, 2018
  • Location: Briggs Street between Wells and Moffatt, Erie, CO 80516
  • Hours: 5PM-8PM
  • Local Tip: Don’t miss the locals’ favorite Erie Downtown Neighborhood Block Party on select Friday nights. See dates here.
