Located on the Hill just west of the CU Boulder main campus, the No Name Bar welcomes Jeremy Mohney every Tuesday evening starting at 9pm. On Wednesdays, Jeremy Mohney brings out his whole band for a fun jazz night, starting at 9:30pm. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere or dance to those swingin’ tunes. No cover charge.

Walk down the stairs into the basement of the well-known Hotel Boulderado into the old-fashioned speakeasy known as License No. 1. Thursday through Saturday, the venue welcomes live music or DJ’s to the bar for an exciting night. On Saturdays, you can be sure to find Banshee Tree, whose style is a combination of gypsy jazz, swing, and folk pop, playing their tunes from 9pm until midnight. No cover charge. Arrive before the music starts to try the delicious dinner menu and the drink menu, too – from coffee to wine and beer! Don’t be fooled if you can’t find it at first: Caffé Sole is located on South Broadway around the back of King Soopers.
Right off of 28th and Valmont Road, the Rayback Collective is the perfect place to be social in Boulder. With a unique layout, including both indoor and outdoor seating, the Rayback Collective is more than a place, it’s an experience. Known as “Boulder’s Back-Yard,” take your time and enjoy the comfortable seating, fire pit, food trucks, and main bar. Live music is typically played on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 6-9pm. Conveniently located just a block north of the Pearl Street walking mall, the Bohemian Biergarten prides itself on having a diverse range of live music, from “indie bands to metal, Gypsy Jazz to Stomp Grass.” You can plan on every Thursday starting at 9pm, and also every Friday and Saturday at different times. The Dark Horse is a unique bar and grill located right off of Baseline Road. They offer live music every Saturday night starting at 9pm with no cover. Be sure to grab a drink and experience the one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
Located on the West End of the Pearl Street walking mall, the West End Tavern is a Boulder classic. Every Saturday night front 9-11pm, they welcome different artists and bands to play while you partake of the fantastic food and drink specials.
